Riyadh-ul-Haq - The Virtues and Blessings of the Quran
In countless number of homes around the world there is a
living miracle present that is all too often wrapped in a decorative cloth
and placed on a high shelf. The Quran is the bedrock of Islam and thus our
complete way of life is contained within it. Numerous virtues have been
attached to the reciting, listening, memorising, understanding and
teaching of the Quran.
A number of virtues associated with the Quran are
discussed at length, as well as the effects upon one who would rather
spend time engrossed in worldly acts than in the recitation of the Quran.
The superiority of the Quran over all other words is akin to Allah's
superiority over His creation so let us recognise and act upon the advice
given.
