Shaikh Abdal Bary Awa'ad bin Ali Al-Thubaity was born in Makkah in 1380 AH, after completing his primary and secondary school education he studied in King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah in 1405 and got a Bachelor of Science from HA and Higher Diploma in Legislation"Sharea'a" with honours from Umm Al-Qura University in Makkah in 1409 AH.

Although he was still at the age of nine, he started teaching the Qura'an during the evenings in Makkah.

In1397 he led Taraweeh prayer in Ramadan in an Islamic centre in the UK. He won first place in the international competition for the memorization of the Qura'an in Makkah in 1399 AH.

Shaikh Abdul Bary Thubaity was involved in various activities in the field of teaching the Qura'an and social services and was a member of several boards and charitable committees, including:

-Board of Directors of the charity for Memorizing the Holy Qura'an in Jeddah.
-Society for Memorizing the Holy Quran in Jeddah.
-Charitable Organization for Memorizing Holy Qura'an.
-Charitable Organization for Society for Social Services in Jeddah.
-Commission on the local contest to recite the Holy Quran and recite the Holy Qura'an.
-Director of the Cooperative Office for Call and Guidance in Jeddah.

Since late 1414 and he's participating in the Imam at and the rhetoric of the Prophet's Mosque in Al-Madinah Al Munawrah.
